This clear medium garnet-colored Beaujolais from the Julienas commune opens with a very mild red cherry and wild strawberry bouquet with hints of violets and red plum. On the palate, this wine is medium-bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and delicate. The flavor profile is gentle pomegranate and loam blend with notes of cooked red plum and cranberry. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins linger nicely.  Pair this Beaujolais with braised rabbit, turkey, poultry dishes, or stuffed red peppers.
