The 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis Les Cha!ots 1er Cru is marked by higher acidity than other Premier Crus. It has a powerful bouquet of blackberry, raspberry and scorched earth aromas, developing floral scents with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied, the 30% whole bunch neatly integrated. The harmonious, beautifully poised finish lingers long in the mouth. Excellent.
