The 2022 Chablis Vaucoupin ler Cru is the most mineral-driven of Picq's cuvees this year, almost Puligny-like in style, very intense and delineated. It gains vigor on the glass. The palate is very well-balanced, with a touch of marzipan-like sweetness in the background. The acidity drives this along, segueing into quite a spicy, peppery finish lingering in the mouth. Superb.
