FRENCH ROSE – MIXED CASE
Each case contains three (3) bottles each of the following four (4) Rose wines. This year’s selection of 2009 French Rose is excellent and quite possibly the finest to date.
VRAC 2009 Rose, Vin de Pays Mediterranee
This wine is produced and bottled for the importer by a well known, high quality Cotes de Provence producer. It is very close in quality, but is a fraction of the price. This is a delicious blend of the local grape varieties, Carignan, Cinsault, Syrah and Tibourenc.
Laurent Miquel 2009 Rose, Vin de Pays D’Oc
This is another delicious elegant styled South of France country rose made from 80% Cinsault and 20% Syrah. A touch of earth, Strawberry and blueberry flavors make this a very interesting wine.
Grande Cassagne 2009 Rose, Costieres de Nimes
This delicious blend of Grenache a Syrah has been a huge hit here at Domaine Franey for years. Once again the wine delivers a bang for the buck and exceptional quality. Bright ripe, but dry strawberry fruit is enhanced by a soft velvety texture that makes this so easy to drink.
La Source 2009 Rose, Coteaux d’Aix en Provence
A blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 20% Cinsault, this is classic Provence rose made by the famous Chateau Vignelaure. It is serious, complex, elegant rose for the seasoned Rose Connoisseur.
